• In addition to patient care, the department also supports and trains medical students, internal medicine residents and gastroenterology fellows.
• Our team conducts clinical research and participates in industry- and NIH-sponsored as well as investigator-initiated research and serves as Faculty at the Temple/St. Lukes School of Medicine.

• Collectively, the team delivers over 43,000 annual visits and performs about 30,00 procedures.

St. Lukes Carbon Campus - Lehighton, PA

1. Lukes Carbon Campus is a 160,000 square foot hospital with four stories and capacity for 80 private rooms. Onsite there will be a 17-bed emergency room (soon to be expanded to 29 rooms), 24-hour critical care with 12 ICU beds, state-of-the-art operating rooms, and the most advanced radiology and diagnostic technology available to the region.

Lehighton is in Pennsylvanias Carbon County and is less than a twenty-minute drive to the popular tourist town, Jim Thorpe. The Pocono Mountains and the Appalachian Trial allow for endless outdoor activities surrounded by beautiful scenery. The new St. Lukes Carbon Campus is immediately off the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike. Major cities such as Philadelphia and New York are only a short drive away.

St. Lukes Miners Campus - Coaldale, PA

St. Lukes Miners Campus is a high performing, team-oriented rural 49-bed hospital that is part of the St. Lukes University Health Network. The Miners Campus provides unique clinical and educational leadership opportunities, a collegial work environment, and the ability to make a genuine impact in patient and community health. Facilities include a state-of-the-art emergency department, Level IV Trauma Center, technologically advanced in-patient unit and a full complement of integrated specialty, therapy and primary care services. The campus is located just west of the Pocono Mountains, with short drives to New York and Philadelphia.
